The End is Near . . .

It's so true . . . the apocalypse is coming . . . The APOCALYPSE OF MY BOOK!
It'll be in 2012 . . . nobody will survive . . . BECAUSE PEOPLE TRY TO DESTROY THE WORLD!
Maybe there is hope . . . maybe we'll be saved . . . BY THREE MUTANT NINJA BIRD-KIDS!

See what I did there? Three mutant NINJA bird-kids? The mutant ninja turtles? Get it? Hahaha!
Forget writing - I'm officially changing my profession to stand-up-comedy.
I lied! Hahaha! I'm so funny. You laughed, right? Right?

Anyways. As I've noted before, my book will be ending soon. *wipes tear from cheek* But it's not all over now. The second book will come! And let me tell you - the second book will make the biggest impact ever in the series. It's is the climax of the series - you have no idea how excited I am to start writing it!

So, I'm writing the last bits of my book. The big, end-scene has yet to come, but I have only a few more pages until the write the epilogue. I love that word. It sounds so . . . important and creepy. Is it just me, or do you agree? Either way, it's the end! I've never finished a book before, but I am now! This is inspiration for all you teen/kid-writers out there: IT IS POSSIBLE. Don't give up on your book - it's amazing and you know it.

So far I'm at 125 000 words (approximately) and I'm going to give you a snippet! There should be a snippet song, like - 'Snip-snip-snippet, it's time for a snip-snip-snippet! Si-si-sit down and en-joy it! Snip-snip-snip snip snip-snip-snip-SNIPPET!' I know, I know, it's amazing. Seriously, I'm flattered that you love it. I mean, you love it, right? I have talent in songwriting - I HAVE TO LET IT SHINE!!

So . . . as promised . . . here you go!

Post Number . . . uh . . .

Whoa. What has it been, two days? Four days? *random person whispers in ear*
WHAT?! IT'S BEEN NINE FREAKING DAYS?!
My sincerest apologies. I haven't posted in nine days. But with those nine days, guiltily, I've been addicted to the my new game Skyrim. Yeah, I'm a nerd. But aren't we all? Sometimes the inner nerd has to shine.
Anyways, I got my tooth pulled for the first time today. It was just a little tooth (heh xD). It was the first time I've ever had a shot in my mouth. Yes, my teeth are fairly healthy. I've never had a filling before *knocks on wood*
ANYWAYS, I'm going to give you a snippet for today and then go play Skyrim. I'm so sorry xD IT'S AMAZING! But I'm sorry :P
ANY. WAYS. Here it is!

Yeah. It's gone Viral.

Cue the suspenseful music! Dim the lights! We're going VIRAL.
Literally.
Yes, I mean it literally.
I'm here to write a longer post this time and not take up too much space with pictures of bins (refer to post below). Hopefully this is gonna be a better one, because I have much to say.
So, with that said, I'm going to say much right now.
For starters, I'll refer to the title and explain the new characters the story has expressed. They're masses of characters, and it'll be a big part of the plot for Abnormal Angels. What am I talking about, you ask? (You asked, right? Right?!) Well, they're not really characters. More like partially characters. It's an infection that will soon accidentally begin taking over the world. But that's not the main plot, no, it's just a . . . a 'pre-plot'. It'll drive us towards the giant thing, which will end up killing -
SHUT UP! I'm going to give away the whole story if I keep babbling. Sorry guys, you'll just have to wait for book 2 ;D
Anyways, this snippet (which is more like a chunk, lucky you) will explain a lot more. Although it will not explain the fact that the infected people are dubbed 'Virals' (Yes, the title). So there's a little behind-the-scenes info for you.
Well, here's the snippet/chunk!

Dancing, Pizza and Lots of Chocolate

I'm going to be extremely predictable and list three of my many favourite things:
Dancing
Pizza
Chcoclate

Random message alert: Check out the 'Abnormal Angels' page! I put some novel pictures on there! And I made them myself! I'm so proud.

Yes. Today is Easter, and I'm making a post. You know, after my little sister played my alarm clock, finding only three-quarters of the eggs hidden in plain sight, and the lovely brunch at a buffet that was pretty expensive. But hey, it's Easter! Who care's about the price?
I ate brunch as one of the eight grandchildren in the family; four boys, four girls. My cousin Connor had six platefuls of crab (I'm NOT over-exaggerating here, I swear) and at least three desert plates, while his younger brother, Justin, DRANK a cup of chocolate from the chocolate fountain.
I love my family <3
They also had free bacon, so I was instantly transported to heaven. I had about five plates of bacon. Bacon. And more bacon. I think there should be a religion for bacon. I would worship it.
Anyhow, who cares about my life? I should be talking about Abnormal Angels. But here I am, babbling on about some buffet that we spent, like, 4 hours at. That, in fact, had a huge table dedicated to dessert. And a table dedicated to seafood. And a BIN full of crab. Yes, I said it. A BIN. Like this:
But it was MUCH, MUCH bigger.
SHUT UP, MIKIKI! *slaps self*
Okay, here's the snippet for today:

Climax? Not yet!

Don't you absolutley love the climax? Yes? So do I!
We aren't at the climax yet, though! BWAHAHA!
I know this a pretty early post, but I've got a sleepover to go to tonight and I won't be back for about . . . two days. So I'm posting, ultra-quick, mostly because my frequent commenter Annie said she would KILL me if I didn't! *cowers in fear* Hehe!
So, here's to you, Annie, because this post is for YOU! (And all others. But this post wouldn't be here if she hadn't threatened me, so everyone, thank Annie!)
I'm taking the killing thing overboard, I know. Hehehe . . .
Well, here you go!

Airplanes!

As you may have noticed, I haven't posted in quite awhile. But, I have an excuse!
I went to . . .
DENVER!
Ah, Denver, Colorado. The 'mile high city'. I went to see a hockey game. Considering I live in Canada, where hockey is a big thing, I was extremely excited to go. It was a five day trip, I spent a good amount of money, and visited really cool places that I'd never visited before. It was my second time in Denver, the first being when I was six months old. So that doesn't really count, right?
Anyways, it was awesome. I saw the hockey game, met a few Canucks fans, went shopping, had a fun with my family. But now you're wondering, 'Okay, great. But how does this relate to the title?'
You might not be thinking that, but either way, I'm going to tell you: I flew there and back on a plane. Yeah, I know. I'm cool. :P
SO, this brings us to the point where I put in a snippet of my story that relates to the flying part of it. And considering the story is about kids with wings, I guess it was an easy selection.
Here you go!

Beauty and the Genetically Mutated Beast

I love Disney movies!
My favourite princess is Beauty from Beauty and the Beast. I mean, come on, it's pretty awesome. (And not about mermaids and unicorns.)
But we aren't here to talk about Disney movies!
We're here today to talk about my version. BWAHAHAHA!
I have spent a good portion of the day eating bowls of cereal and snacking on chocolate while writing only about 5 000 words. *Sigh* Sometimes writers have slow days, right?
Oh, and to top it all off, my darn shift key is a little on the stiff side, to I have to train my little finger to press harder. Oh, the workout I have!
I'm just kidding. The real workout I've had was a two-day-in-a-row soccer tournament. I was two hours away from home, from 5 in the morning to 7 at night, playing soccer and competing for first place. We were in seventh, and after four well-played games we came in fourth of the whole league. How was that? We were pumped up with Timbits and those little macaroon chocolates, plus a whole bin  full of cookies! Ah, life is good. And full of sugar!
And so now I'm here, my legs sore from two hours of dancing and horseback riding on Friday, two full days of playing soccer all weekend. Plus, I'm trying out for the Academy Soccer Team on Wednesday, which is a hardcore soccer training program. And I'll be the youngest girl there. Because, you know, there's only two girls including me. The rest are older boys. *Shivers* Sometimes life is brutal. And I'm not even a good soccer player! Well, I'm a decent one. I play defense. I was a midfield, but now I'm a defense. And I'm never subbed off, so my only break is halftime. But I'm glad, because I'm going to push myself to the limit this year. Yes, I will be strong. I will CONQUER!
Wish me luck, because honestly, I'm nervous for tryouts!
Anyways, here's a sport-related section from my story to relate to the mood!
